Optimization of excess brines disposal methods at potash mining and processing plants

The paper analyzes the positive and negative aspects of various technological solutions for liquid brines used during development polymineral potash ore deposits considers problem determining choice optimal approach by considering geological, technical, environmental, financial factors. study issues utilization reduction components discharges in production fertilizers, simultaneous valuable loss with discharges, and, due to this, increasing usage technology mine brines, are an urgent important scientific engineering challenge industry. Technologically, several alternative can reduce number by-products placed sludge storage. work analytical methods, including statistical data processing, modeling, pre-design studies solutions, assessment economic costs. Excess mining processing plants waste obtained fertilizers ? MOP SOP. accumulation excess storage facilities is estimated at millions cubic meters per year. However, expansion area construction dams only temporary solutions. They associated risks design, construction, operation hydraulic structures, brine leakage into open underground water basins. Therefore, it makes necessary use other methods disposal. Depending on nature processed ores, be combined dispose once: backfilling, osmosis, injection deep horizons, multistage evaporation. most combination technologies potassium-magnesium plant's raw materials following: 60% disposed vacuum evaporation units, 20 % injecting excessive absorbing 10%?20% should backfilling or additional products production.
